I went on a two day hiking trip to the White Mountains in New Hampshire in October with my buddy Grant (aka Gritter of the infamous Gritter jump). Though we were hiking an eight mile in, eight mile out trail with camping gear on our backs, we still had some energy to take jumping pics. The first one occurred within the first two miles of the hike. The beginning was relatively flat through a wooded area that included boardwalks over and around water.
We then had a long day of climbing a couple mountains to get to our eventual campsite. The next morning on our way back, we were at the top of Mount Guyot within the first half mile. The day before we had gone the same way but it was late in the day and getting very cold. The summit is an exposed area and therefore vulnerable for strong winds. As this was October in New Hampshire, it was already a bit chilly to begin with. So we hurried through it the first time through. Anyway, we stuck around in the morning and took in the incredible scenery…
…and had some fun too!
The rest of the day we spent hiking the eight miles out, and capped it off with some delicious food and beer at the Woodstock Inn Brewery.

This is a most excellent and jump filled post. The jumping on Guyot on the way out really made the trip rock!
